What is PolyClaw?

PolyClaw is a trading-enabled OpenClaw skill. It combines public market browsing with a split-and-sell execution path on Polygon and local position tracking. Its hedge scan evaluates logical relationships between contracts, making the exact questions and resolution rules central to interpreting a suggested pair.

Who it is for

  • OpenClaw users who want Polymarket tools
  • Developers exploring logically related contract pairs
  • Technical users who can configure RPC and model access

Workflows with PolyClaw

Research a covering pair

Search a topic, run a small hedge scan and inspect the precise implication between the two resolution questions. Compare combined entry cost and available size.

Track a position opened through the skill

Inspect its locally recorded entry and current value, then reconcile it with the wallet before an exit.

Configure account access

Set the RPC and signer for wallet operations and the model-provider key for hedge analysis.

Pricing and total cost

Apache-2.0 source code. Polygon transactions, model-provider calls, RPC usage and applicable trading costs are separate.

  2. Install its Python dependencies with uv.
  3. Configure Chainstack RPC and the optional model-provider key.
  4. Browse markets before adding execution credentials.
  5. Inspect wallet status and the required contract approvals.
  6. Set the trade amount with the split-and-sell mechanics in mind.

What to check

  • The buy amount enters a split workflow; it is not simply a direct ask-side spend.
  • Approvals submit on-chain transactions.
  • Positions are recorded in a local JSON file and may not include activity performed elsewhere.
  • Coverage tiers are outputs of the pair-analysis logic, not contract settlement commitments.
  • The skill is designed for OpenClaw; Alphapoly provides a separate standalone application.
