What is Numinous Tools?

Numinous Tools is a skill and plugin package around the forecasting APIs. It handles request routing and asynchronous polling so an agent can turn a precise binary question into a forecast or retrieve supporting signals for a Polymarket contract. It is a research integration rather than an order-execution bot.

Who it is for

  • Users of compatible coding agents who want forecast tools
  • Developers embedding Numinous research in an agent workflow
  • Analysts who need balance and usage visibility alongside paid calls

Features and coverage

Polymarket
  • Forecast command

Submit a binary-event question and poll for its probability result.

  • Signals command

Retrieve scored evidence for a market or free-text question.

  • Credit visibility

Inspect balance and usage through API-key access.

  • Provider inspection

Browse supported miner and agent information.

  • Multiple installation paths

Use the Claude Code plugin, a compatible skill directory or clawhub.

  • Two payment routes

Use a prefunded API-key balance or the documented x402 forecast path.

Workflows with Numinous Tools

Research a contract from an agent

Supply the market’s exact question and deadline, retrieve signals and then ask for a forecast. Keep the source links with the probability.

Monitor a research budget

Read balance and usage before a batch, then compare the consumed credits afterward.

Use per-call forecasting

Configure the supported x402 wallet path for forecast requests when prefunded API-key billing is unsuitable.

Pricing and total cost

The code is MIT-0 licensed. API calls are metered separately; the package reads the live costs endpoint rather than hardcoding prices. Prefunded credits and x402 forecasting are distinct payment paths.

Getting started

Before you start: The documented x402 script supports forecasts, not Signals.

  1. Install through the repository’s supported plugin or skill route.
  2. Create a Numinous API key for forecasts, signals, balance and usage.
  3. Optionally configure the documented x402 wallet on Base for forecasts.
  4. Start with one precise binary question.
  5. Inspect the returned probability, evidence and usage before automating a batch.

What to check

  • The documented x402 script supports forecasts, not Signals.
  • A compatible agent must be able to read and run the skill’s Python scripts.
  • The package does not submit Polymarket orders.
  • A market’s deadline and resolution terms need to be included in a useful forecasting question.

Our take on Numinous Tools

Small agent-facing commands and visible credit usage make forecasting access understandable. The tools depend on a compatible local environment and separately metered provider APIs.

Frequently asked questions about Numinous Tools

Do I need to call commands manually?

Compatible agents can route natural-language requests through the installed skill.

Can I retrieve signals with x402 alone?

The package’s x402 route is forecast-only; use an API key for Signals.

Is the plugin price the API price?

The package is free code; forecasting and signal calls consume provider credits.

Does it manage a trading wallet?

Its wallet option pays for API calls; it is not an exchange execution module.
