How We Review Polymarket Tools

Polytoolhub is a directory of distinct offerings across trading, frontends, analytics, research, developer tools, infrastructure, capital products, external data and learning resources. An offering can belong to several relevant categories but keeps one stable profile. A research lead or a review of its website does not make it a published or tested product.

How a profile earns a place

We reconcile an offering's identity and official destination against official documentation, write a task-specific purpose and useful limitations, then review category memberships separately from suggestions. Named API channels and components stay inside their parent offering unless evidence shows a distinct usable product. An unfamiliar price is recorded as unknown; it does not by itself reject a useful profile.

Documentation review and product testing

We use official product pages, documentation and repositories to describe features, access requirements and limitations. A listing does not imply hands-on testing, a security audit or an endorsement. Any claim based on our own product testing must specify the action and date. Detailed source dates and review records are maintained in our editorial records.

Pricing, access and dated changes

Facts have their own check dates, which are different from an article edit or build date. We distinguish a vendor's service fee from venue fees, a forecast from a resolution observation, and a scheduled shutdown from an observed completed one. When a former price is no longer supported, we remove it from current-price fields but preserve its dated source in editorial history. The September 28 Polyfollow fee correction and Struct's announced September 30 service cutoff illustrate those boundaries.

Comparisons and commercial relationships

An alternative needs a stated task difference; a complement needs a distinct role. A collection states a criterion and a limitation per inclusion. The homepage shows six profiles per page, ordered by Highest rated by default, as are the catalog and categories. Unrated profiles follow rated profiles; equal scores are ordered by name, then stable profile ID. Alphabetical sorting is also available. Confirmed ownership affiliation, sponsorship and affiliate links are disclosed on the relevant listing. Unknown is not proof that a relationship does not exist.

Corrections, claims and images

A reported correction must be checked against a dated source and changed in the versioned editorial record. A submitted ownership claim is a manual request, not verified control of a domain or account. For corrections or listing requests, email info@polytradingbot.com with the page URL and a supporting source. Website submission forms are currently unavailable. Media require their own provenance, date, accurate caption and reuse basis; no archived screenshot is published merely because it was saved.

How ratings work

Editorial ratings are Polytoolhub’s assessment of usefulness for the stated task, documented feature scope, setup clarity and transparency of access and costs. They use a five-point scale in half-point steps. They describe our reading of product information and public documentation; they are not hands-on benchmarks, security audits or predictions of financial returns.

  • 1 — Unavailable for the intended task.
  • 2 — Limited evidence, substantial gaps or a dependency that needs replacement.
  • 3 — Useful for a defined task, with meaningful constraints.
  • 4 — Strong documented fit with clear capabilities and conditions.
  • 5 — Exceptional support for the assessment, including hands-on validation. Half points indicate an assessment between these levels.

Until a tool has five published user reviews, the main score is clearly labelled Editorial rating. At five reviews it switches to the arithmetic mean of published user ratings, shown to one decimal place. The editorial score remains separate and is never included in that average. If the published count falls below five after moderation, the editorial score becomes primary again.

User reviews and moderation

We accept one published review per confirmed email address and tool; later changes replace that review. Email confirmation establishes control of the address, not verified use of the product. Reviewers must describe their own experience, disclose a business connection and consent to publication of their chosen display name and review. Their email address is not published.

Reviews contribute to the score only after email confirmation and moderation. Positive and negative reviews follow the same rules. Spam, duplicate submissions, impersonation and unrelated content are excluded. Third-party discussions and vendor testimonials are not counted as reviews submitted to Polytoolhub. To correct or withdraw a review, contact info@polytradingbot.com from the address used to submit it.
