What is Rainbow?

Rainbow combines a self-custody wallet with market discovery and trading on a phone. Its current official site explicitly includes Polymarket predictions, alongside crypto and a separate perpetuals feature powered by Hyperliquid. This makes it relevant to someone who wants a mobile entry point and keeps other assets in the same app. The support guide explains creating and backing up a wallet, copying a public address and reviewing a send. Those established wallet tasks are illustrated in the official screenshots below; they do not show the newer prediction order flow. Network support and feature availability should therefore be checked in the current app. Desktop extensions are offered, but the reviewed sources do not establish identical prediction features across every platform. Fees, access eligibility, funding routes and completed prediction orders were not tested.

Who it is for

  • Researchers comparing wallet management with a separate prediction-market account flow

  • Mobile predictions

The current product page presents Polymarket markets inside the phone app. Its separate perpetuals section is powered by Hyperliquid; leverage advertised there does not establish leveraged prediction positions.

  • Wallet ownership and backup

The support guide describes keys generated on the device, wallet backup and portability to other compatible wallets. Recovery depends on retaining the backup.

  • Transfer review

The documented send flow separates recipient selection, asset, amount and final confirmation. Supported assets and networks must match the receiving address.

  • Market context and rewards

The site describes charts and prices alongside trading, plus a Rainbow Black rewards upgrade. The reviewed material does not establish a numeric Black price or a complete prediction fee schedule.

Workflows with Rainbow

Evaluate the phone workflow

Download through the official site, inspect the Predictions section and compare the intended market with its underlying Polymarket rules. Check local eligibility, collateral and the complete quoted costs before considering an order.

Prepare a wallet transfer

Use the current app to identify the intended network and public receiving address, then compare them with the sending service. Keep the recovery phrase private and review the confirmation screen; an old documentation example does not establish today’s supported networks.

Pricing and total cost

Official downloads and help are public. Rainbow Black is advertised as an upgrade, but its price and the complete prediction trading fee schedule were not established in the reviewed pages. Network, deposit and transaction costs depend on the route and current quote.

Access: Official iPhone, Android and desktop download links are available. Polymarket predictions are advertised for the phone experience; region and account eligibility and extension feature parity were not tested.

Getting started

  1. Follow the current iPhone or Android download link on the official Rainbow site.
  2. Create or import a wallet using the app’s documented flow, retaining the recovery backup privately.
  3. Inspect the current Predictions entry and market rules; confirm eligibility, funding network and quote details before any funded action.

What to check

  • The introductory support article contains older Ethereum-specific language. Use the current app for network and feature support; the historical wallet examples are not current market data.
  • Numeric prediction fees, regional eligibility, custody details of the prediction flow and an executed order remain unverified. No wallet was created or connected.

Our take on Rainbow

Explicit Polymarket positioning and clear wallet backup documentation make Rainbow a useful mobile candidate. Older onboarding examples, incomplete prediction-specific cost information and an untested order flow limit this documentation-based assessment.

Frequently asked questions about Rainbow

Does the desktop extension have all the phone’s prediction features?

The official site lists desktop downloads, but the reviewed documentation does not establish prediction feature parity. Verify the particular platform before choosing it for that task.

Do the screenshots show a Polymarket order?

No. They are official wallet and transfer examples from Rainbow’s getting-started guide. Their capture dates are not supplied, and they do not prove a current prediction trade.

Does the advertised leverage apply to Polymarket?

The homepage places leverage in a separate Hyperliquid perpetuals section. It is not evidence of leverage for the Polymarket prediction interface.

Can the provider restore a lost wallet backup?

The support guide states that the keys are controlled by the user and that a wallet without its backup cannot be recovered through an ordinary password reset.
