What is Desearch — forecasting research data?

The inventory’s old “Numinous Forecasting API” destination now resolves to a Desearch integration case study. Desearch supplies the evidence-gathering layer: agents search current information, retrieve sources and use that material in their own forecasts. Numinous provides the separate agent-evaluation environment and scoring.

Who it is for

  • Developers adding fresh evidence to a forecasting agent
  • Researchers retrieving source text for a market thesis
  • Builders combining web and social search

Getting started

Before you start: This is an evidence API, not a standalone probability feed or trading bot.

  1. Create a Desearch API account.
  2. Choose the APIs needed for evidence collection.
  3. Run a small request and inspect sources.
  4. Review usage units in Console.
  5. Integrate retrieval with your own forecast logic.

What to check

  • This is an evidence API, not a standalone probability feed or trading bot.
  • The old inventory name overstates the current destination; Numinous scoring is a separate system.
  • Retrieved material still needs source selection and timestamp handling.

Our take on Desearch — forecasting research data

Separate search and extraction APIs with explicit billing units are useful building blocks for forecasting research. It supplies evidence rather than calibrated predictions, and request minimums affect actual usage cost.
