What is CopyTrail?
CopyTrail follows a selected trader’s fills and sizes a corresponding order at your chosen ratio. New accounts begin in paper mode, where the activity log can be compared with the trader’s public record. Live copying requires a separate key-registration step and an explicit live switch. Daily and monthly budgets, minimum source-trade filters and a pause control govern subsequent entries.

Workflows with CopyTrail
Compare source and paper fills
Create an account, choose a trader, set the ratio and budgets, then compare paper entries with the trader’s public fills. Inspect missed or differently sized entries before changing modes.
Bound a live strategy
Check the standing capital cap, daily/monthly limits and slippage together. Enable live mode only for the selected configuration.
Pause further exposure
Use the pause control to stop new copies, then manage existing positions separately.

What to check
- Pausing stops new copies; it does not close existing positions.
- A plan’s seed cap is a standing limit that releases capacity as positions close, distinct from a monthly spending budget.
- The public calculator multiplies the trader’s historical result by a ratio; it does not simulate every historical fill, available balance or execution cost.
