What is PolyTerm?

PolyTerm is an open-source command-line watcher for one Polymarket market at a time. Its current README explicitly says that it uses no private keys and places no orders. The watch view distinguishes CLOB top-of-book data from lagged Data API trade prints.

Developers can inspect the monitoring session without using a trading account interface. The documentation also explains stale connections, REST fallback and unknown outage status instead of presenting every connected socket as live data.

Who it is for

  • Developers monitoring a market from a terminal
  • Researchers who need explicit data-source and freshness labels
